First European Race

Today I had the opportunity to try out a road race in Grenoble! Not only was this my first race of the year and my first race representing Specialized, but it was my first RACE IN EUROPE! The course was ALL uphill. It was a really hard race, but it was an amazing experience. It was really cool having everyone cheer me on in French, or at the start line when they counted down cinq, quatre, trois, deux, un, allez!!

 I came out of the race with second place in my age category and third place for overall women! I had a great race today, I hope one day I'll get to come back to Europe for another try!
